Our story began in 2008 with a 160-square-foot drive-thru in Beaverton, Oregon. Founded by family, rooted in hospitality, and inspired by a desire to brighten the grey mornings of the Pacific Northwest, we set out to create something simple yet meaningful—a place where great coffee could bring people together.

Today, Black Rock Coffee Bar has grown to more than 200 locations across seven states. While much has changed, our commitment to community, genuine connection, and exceptional hospitality has remained the same. Every location is built by incredible people who care deeply about creating memorable experiences for every guest.

From the very beginning, every guest, barista, and team member has helped shape who we are. As we’ve grown from a single drive-thru stand into a thriving community across multiple states, our mission has never wavered: to be a positive force in people’s daily lives, one cup at a time. As we look ahead, we’re committed to staying true to what started it all—real moments, shared stories, and the meaningful connections that can only happen over a great cup of coffee.
