(“Black Rock Coffee,” “we,” or “us”) collects, uses, discloses and otherwise processes information about you, including when you access or use our website, mobile app, or any of our online products and services (collectively, our “Services”), when you shop in our stores, or when you interact with us (e.g., support channels or social media). We may provide different or additional notices for certain products, services, or activities; those notices supplement or replace this policy.

The information we collect about you depends on how you interact with us or use our Services.

Information You Provide to Us

We collect information you provide directly to us. For example, when you create an account, order pickup/delivery or a subscription, make a purchase in our coffee shops, join our loyalty program, fill out a form, communicate via third-party platforms, request customer support, or otherwise communicate with us online or in our coffee shops. This may include your name, email address, billing and shipping address, phone number, demographic information (such as month and day of birth), and any other information you choose to provide. If you make a purchase, a third-party payment processor will process your payment information.

Information We Collect Automatically

  • Activity Information: Information about your activity on our Services (e.g., items you browse or add to your cart).
  • Transactional Information: If you purchase products or a subscription, we collect details such as product/subscription information, price, date, and location.
  • Device and Usage Information: How you access our Services (hardware model, OS version, mobile network, IP address, unique identifiers, browser type, app version) and activity (access times, pages viewed, links clicked, referrer page).
  • CCTV, Audio, and Chat Content: We may capture CCTV footage in our shops for security/loss prevention. Customer service conversations may be monitored/retained (including for training).
  • Location Information: With your app/device permissions, we may collect your device’s precise location. You may stop precise location collection at any time (see Your Choices).
  • Cookies and Similar Technologies: We use cookies, pixels, web beacons, and SDKs to understand usage and improve the Services. See Targeted Advertising and Analytics and Your Choices.

Information We Collect from Other Sources

We obtain information from other sources, such as marketing and advertising partners, analytics providers, and mailing list providers. This may include contact information and data about your preferences and shopping habits.
